Venice E6 Chips shipping now

Actually if you read towards the end... apparently the OP has a E3 chip, he hasn't been back to explain why his "CPU-id number" matches a E3.

please let me know how it goes Dan, ive been waiting lately to upgrade and reading up on stuff really, i think im gonna grab one of these

i have my e6 at 2700 at 1.56v, don't expect what the OP had, he lied, and had an e3, i posted my results in the thread

I ordered the 3000+ at eWhiz (or whatever) - came out to about $125
Not as good as the recent Monarch deal, but pretty good IMHO.

Decided to pick up an E6 from Ewiz to play with. If it OCs better than my old chip (which i didn't read which week), I'll put it in my main box 🙂

CPU-Z hasn't been updated to recognize Venice E6 chips yet, so he's actually legit as far as I'm concerned.

eWiz is a great site. They beat Newegg in terms of shipping orders out fast. And yes you will get your chip with correct stepping.

XP-120 w/ panaflo m for cooling.

But the damn thing won't boot up. I didn't do anything but put the new chip in and reset the CMOS. I don't what the fvck is wrong.
