I'm using an ASUS AV-8 Deluxe mobo (my computer is in my sig)

I got it up to 2.25 ghz and it was running stable. I left it on overnight and earlier today I ran F@H on it for a few hours. The max temp it would reach is around 57 which isnt too bad from what I understand. I also played CS:S on it and it ran fine.

However, I wanted to get it to 2.4 Ghz, but so far I'm not having luck. It booted fine and I ran F@H on it for a hour or so and it was around 58 degrees. But CS:S doesn't work now, whenever I start it up the computer restarts itself. I'm pretty sure its not the temperature, so I'm wondering if its the fact that my PS can't handle it. Is that a correct assumption? What should the CPU voltage be set at? I had left it on 1.55V, so should I change it? Thanks for any help

Oh, at the stable 2.25, my setting for the FSB was 250 X 9.

Now its running at 267 x 9.

check your ht multi. your ht bus may be too high try to keep it under 1000mhz. You can check your ht speed in cpu z.

i set it at 800 but it was giving the same 1069 in cpu-z. now i've set it to 600 and it shows as 800 in cpu-z

btw...how is the HT clock calculated?
