Venezuela, Bolivia or Nicaragua? Where would you go?

Of the 3 places offering Snowden asylum I am wondering which one would be the best place to live, just in case I get into a similar situation...

Probably not Venezuela.

And lets be honest, the US has the resources to get in and out of each of those countries with ease, dealing with any and all military threats without breaking a sweat.

Venezuela is a very violent country. Especially since the Bolivarian Revolution (Chavez) began. Hopefully he can get into Iceland.

America got caught with their pants down again. This whole fiasco would be hilarious if it wasn't so disturbing. US needs to start taking its own human rights record seriously.

Nicaragua is actually a safe and nice county. Bolivia is land locked. Valenzuela too socialist.

Nicaragua all the way.

America is a "do as we say, don't do as we do" country.

As to the OP. Venezuela for the wimmenz

Never been to any. But Bolivia because it has mountains/cold. You could probably fly to Venezuela if you wanted to go to the ocean

Iceland ++

Iceland is the most developed society in the world, ranked first on the United Nations’ Human Development Index. Icelanders are the second longest-living nation with a life expectancy at birth of 81.8 years, and Iceland was recently ranked the fourth happiest country in the world. It is also rumored that Ryekjavik is populated with an excess of beautiful blue-eyed women. It is also said that the women out-number the male population which might account for a lot of these very happy Icelandic men.

None of them? Realistically, Venezuela. I wouldn't want to be stuck in a poorly developed nation at over 14,000 feet. At least Venezuela would have better women, food, and weather.

Snowden is fucked no matter which one he chooses. They'll wring out of him whatever info he has...then he'll end up in a shallow, unmarked grave in the jungle somewhere.

None of the three countries is known for it's human rights.

It's either that or spend the rest of his life in a cell by himself.

Agreed ... because he broke the law. Any country that actually takes this clown is going to ultimately pay the price. What that price may be ... only time will tell. He's a hero and a traitor, depending upon who you talk to. The FACT is that he is charged with a serious crime does not mean that he deserves nor should receive asylum.
