Vehicle vibration

I'm looking for a little verification. My 98 Windstar has a bad vibration between 50 an 60 mph. I think this is proably a tire out of balance but not 100% sure. If it was an axle I would think it would do it at all speeds. If I get it up to 65-70 mph it is a lot less noticable. Anybody have an idea other than the tire balance?

Checked the inflation and that is OK. I guess I could put the spare on and see if it goes away but that's such a PITA to keep swapping the tires.

response time < 1 minute ... Impressive

Thanks

Are your brake rotors OK (not warped)?
If they are warped, that can cause vibration. But it is most likely a tire.

If by some odd chance you have a large amount of mud or ice on your wheels, you need to get that cleaned off because that can throw a tire/wheel out of balance.

Oh, and if your shocks/struts are bad (and I mean that the valving is broken so there is almost no dampening), you can get a nice vibration.

Got to autozone and see if your ECU is outputting any errors. It could be a cylinder misfiring or not firing.

I had that same sort of problemon my honda - if it was alignment I think it would vibrate all the time. Since it's only vibrating part of the time, get it rebalanced.

Just, recalibrate your structural integrity field and inertia dampeners to compensate.
It's not that hard and takes like 5 minutes. 😛

Oh and don't forget to vent your warp plasma.
