I am going to Vegas in a few weeks to attend Interop but need ideas of what to do and see while I am there. This is my first time going and I really don't want to gamble while I am there (much). So, what do you recommend doing?
Oh and light lizards don't count 😛

Depends on your budget. You looking to spend $500 or $5000? Two different worlds there.

My best advice from experience - don't stay too long. 2 days is good, absolutely no more than 3. I stayed 5 days, and was damn near broke after day 3, and had to try so hard to stretch the money that I couldn't enjoy it.

Only 65 reported cases in the US and out of those 65, 5 were hospitalized. Seriously...?

Honestly, no. I stand a greater chance of eating food that is contaminated with something much worse than swine flu, dying in a car accident on the way to the airport, getting hit by lightning, getting sufficated after a freak accident with a blowup doll....
Something is going to get you eventually, worrying won't change that and I welcome the risks involved.
All this talk about swine flu makes me want bacon.

Eat as many cheap buffets as possible, suck down free drinks while slowly playing cheap slots, leave. You do it right you can eat and drink your fill for next to nothing.
Sam's Town, if you can stomach cheap buffet garbage. But seriously, forget the buffets and just eat something good instead of eating a lot.Originally posted by: XZeroII

Cheap buffets? When was the last time you were there? EVERYTHING is expensive now. If you can tell me where to get a good quality cheap buffet in Vegas, I'd really like to know for the next time I'm there.
