we got rooms at luxor

luxor is not a very nice hotel, but you will be surrounded by nice ones! Check out the Paris, Venetian & Bellagio. Incredible hotels those are!

yeah, all those other ones were like 200+, i figure we're not gonna be in the rooms too much so....

not to worry, you'll have a great time regardless of where you stay.

This is important, so pay attention!

Ok, so you have 500 in playing money, and two nights to play.

1. Divide your money into two seperate stakes: 250 per night. The money for night 1 can only be used on night 1. The money for night 2 can only be used on night 2.
2. Pick a reasonable number, say $50. This will be your upper limit. Whenever you are up $50, take that money and put it away. It will be out of play for the rest of the trip and you will be back to your original $250 stake for the night.
3. Budget your money so you have enough to spread across all the games you want to play. Play nickel slots for some free drinks. Then play blackjack or craps at a busy table to maxamise the odds, fun, and comps.
4. At the end of the night, take whatever money is leftover, and put it away. It will be out of play for the rest of the trip, and it will go home with you.

Anyway, the thing about vegas is this: 90% of the people gambling in a casio will be up at some point during the night. But 75% of those people won't stop until they have pissed their winnings away. If you follow my system and set money aside when you are ahead, then I guarantee you won't go home empty handed.

Those statistics I used are made-up, but they are based on real statistics. Oh, and I'll save the serious comp discussion for another day.

that sounds like a good idea, im gonna try to stick to it. i gamble a lot (never at a casino) and my biggest problem is knowing when to stop...

In the Luxor, they have a huge arcade right in the middle but that was like 8 years ago. When I was 14 and my sister was 16 my parents just let us roam around in the Luxor. They have cameras everywhere, so most likely not going to get kidnapped.
