Stay out of Hamada's. Our hotel thing said it was a highly rated place and it was overpriced shit.

We saw O when we were there, it's good. There are some other Cirque shows there too, try and catch one.

Olive's was tasty and sort of pricey, but not so bad if you ate from the fixed price dinner menu.

The flock of Flamingos at The Flamingo and the koi/some other fish ponds were neat.

I think Tiesto might be in town, check it out.

Tiesto is on the 7/2 so we will just miss him. Would have been pretty interesting to go to that show. Flamingo's and Koi would be right up my lady friend's alley. Flamingo isn't too far away either.

The #1 thing to add to your list of "Things to be done":
STAY INDOORS. July is the hottest month in Nevada. It will probably be 187* in Vegas by then. If you're really unlucky you'll get a summer thunderstorm which brings flooding and 100% relative humidity so that it feels like 214*.

Don't tell me my business devil woman!

HAHA. We are both kind of nocturnal people anyways so any time outside during the day will be getting to and from a restaurant or at the pool I am sure. It is supposed to be 107* there all next week. YIKES. I'm from Chicago though so the dry heat is a little more bearable than 95* with 95% humidity like we get here for weeks at a time sometimes.

I'll be there tomorrow. 7am sharp! I'll look around for things to do. Is it true they let you gamble there? I love playing cards.

oh I forgot...
since you've penciled stratosphere in to your itinerary, go to Luv It Frozen Custard, which is just a few blocks away. Man up and order the Western Special or the Luv It Special and you can thank me later.

Can't help but notice you didn't pencil in Lotus of Siam yet... you are making a big mistake by not going.

Hit up the Peppermill too for a mediocre slightly overpriced diner style breakfast or lunch. All the various shortcomings this place has are more than made up for with the awesome over the top ambiance and kitsch. You have to see it to believe it.

Anyway, you can just name whatever food type places you want to go and I can give you excellent recommendations.

Nope, common misconception caused by Hollywood movies. It's mostly bible study classes and Wayne Newton.

if your going to send them to the naked city for custard. They might as well get some burgers at the White Cross drugstore across the street from Luv it.

Good point. They can hit up the OG while they're there too and run the whole circuit. There's also some BBQ joint that just opened across the street too and for some reason they always have people out on the sidewalk singing karaoke. hahaha
