Vegas Bachelor Party - Any Tips?

So me and my buddies are planning a bachelor party for vegas on the weekend of September 10th. I'm just curious if any of you have some tips for someone who's never been.

Would like to see some shows, gamble a decent amount, and probably hit up some strip clubs (it is a bachelor party).

You can check out the shows online and decide what you want to see.

For the rest, just hop in a cab and ask the guy where a good place to go is.

I was just gonna suggest don't steal Mike Tyson's tiger and put a gay chinese gangster in your trunk.

If you want to expand your wolf pack of one though, go for it.

how about passing out on the roof and marrying a stripper?

OP, where are you staying? im gonna hit up vegas with some coworkers end of aug and we're looking at the ARIA

If that stripper is Heather Graham? Hell yeah!

By the way, why do they call them roofies? They should call them floories, cuz you end up on the floor.

The spearmint is a great spot, great looking women. I have done two vegas BP's and that is the place to go.

Call the club a couple of weeks before you go, tell them you have a BP and they will pick you up in a limo from the hotel for free and comp your admission to the club (50 bucks a dude). Just gives you more money to spend in the club. Get drunk before you go, bottles of beer are 10 bucks a pull.

Where are you staying? Depending on where your at on the strip there are different things to check out.

wow... my brother wants his Bachelor party on Labor day weekend.

i'll be keeping an eye on this thread for ideas!!!!

I'm heading to Vegas this month on the 20th probably, haven't been there in a year. Why? Because the last time everyone I went with passed out at 10pm the first night there and I wanted to party so I went out got fucked up blacked out and woke up on the floor of my buddies room with a pocket full of match books. Found out when going to the ATM later that both my cards had reached their limits and I didn't bring my credit card soooo I had no money and came home. I was there for less than 20 hours.

she's still in the business?

i remember when she got her implants. god that scar was noticible.

and what happened w/she's hired?!

Lets just say it ends with you in a wheelchair missing your legs and the best man sucking his food through a tube.

I did my bachelor party in Vegas a couple months ago.

- Go to Haze or XS, or both, and get bottle service. Honestly, it's the only way you'll get in with a large group of dudes. Ask them to seat you next to bachelorette parties. We didn't even ask for it at Haze, but they put us upstairs in between 2 bachelorette parties and a divorcee party with more girls.
- Spearmint is alright. Contrary to what many cab and limo drivers who work Vegas have told me over the past several years, I think it's better than Sapphire even though it's smaller-sized. The VIP boxes at Sapphire are pretty tight if you wanna throw around some serious cash though.
- Highly recommend getting a cabana at a party pool, like Tao Beach, you'll probably end up having more fun than at the strip club.

Cheetah's was fun. If some Romanian chick who loves Aerosmith befriends you she and her girlfriend will tag team you all evening for free...go figure. My buddy sat acriss the aisle and just watched. It was odd, but I didn't complain.

Thanks to extradition laws what happens in Vegas doesn't really stay in Vegas. Keep that in mind when considering a drunken crime spree.

Make sure to go online and get VIP passes to all the clubs you want to go to. They aren't expensive and get you in the door instead of in line outside. Club Rain is a must, I totaly hooked up with a hot southern girl at that club. 😛

I just got back from my brother's bachelor party in New Orleans. We had a pretty good time in the French Quarter. He initially wanted it planned over Labor Day weekend, so I proceeded to get hotel info, flight info.... I was looking into maybe going to a Saints game/LSU game if available. After I did a google search for New Orleans Saints, the first thing that came up was http://www.southerndecadence.net/ Needless to say we moved the bachelor party weekend!

Okay, I can't comment on the strip clubs and stuff, but if you're down for nightclubs, I can help you out with a few promoters and stuff.

I've never done a guys only thing, but always kept it with ladies. It took me 3 trips to really figure out how to get the good deals. You're not gonna get in for free with guys, but perhaps some decent bottle service deals at least. The first time I went we just paid straight up at the door. Second time, we got fooled by the idiots on the streets. I mean it was a discount, but still, not as good as I would've liked. Third time I went I talked to some good friends (girls) who go like every other month... I learned about talking to promoters, and my clubbing/beach experience was practically free (minus the alcohol).

If you're into mega clubs:
1) XS - Surprisingly I've never gone when they open the back up with the pools and stuff, but it's supposed to be amazing. This is a ballin club. Sunday nights = pool party clubbing I hear, but I've only done Saturdays.
2) Tao - Nice Asian crowd. Good crowd in general. It was like 08-09's club to go to. XS has replaced this.
3) Surrender/Lavo - Surrender is new. Outside and stuff. It's basically Encore Beach except at night. Lavo is a smaller lounge/bar but has good celebrity turnouts.
4) Bank/Tryst - Bank is baller I hear, but nice inside. It's at Bellagio. Tryst was a nice club at the Wynn. I feel the crowd is older.

Beaches:
1) Wet Republic (Sat/Sun) - I want to say Sat is better, but you can't go wrong with this place.
2) Encore Beach (Sun) - Sunday = Kaskade if you're into that stuff. It's a huge place though. 4x the size of Tao Beach.
3) Tao Beach - I feel this one's a little small
4) Rehab (Sun) - I haven't been to this one, but this is supposedly the mother of all pool parties. Unfortunately I hear space is so limited you're going to be on someone's lap the whole time. I'm ok with dancing, but honestly I can't dance all day long.... day clubbing just feels weird 😀

Interesting clubs/bars/lounges:
1) Voodoo Lounge - 51st floor of RIO
2) Moon/Ghostbar - top floor of Palms

Decent clubs you should get in for free (this is if you have ladies). If you're paying, you're doing it wrong. Once again it's different with guys, but generally people who rave to me about going to these clubs obviously don't know what the top clubs are in Vegas:
1) Jet
2) Pure
3) LAX

Buffets:
1) Bellagio
2) Wynn - Many people recommend this one, but I've done both Wynn and Bellagio. Both are very similar. I give Bellagio the edge. My friend tried the same thing 2 weeks ago and did them back to back (2 days) and concluded Bellagio has a slight edge.
3) Rio Seafood Buffet - A must if you love seafood. Typical buffets only offer you shrimp cocktails and crab legs. That's marginal only. I wanted lobster. They have it here.
4) Rio Carnival Buffet - this is a typical buffet. It runs like $18 or $21 I forget for dinner, but it's a VERY good value for what you get. It's not the high end Bellagio/Wynn dinner, but for the price it's nice.

Both offer nice views. The former gives you a better view.
