Anyone know of any good places to get international tickets?

I am planning on going to Hanoi, Vietnam with like 5 friends. Too bad I don't speak Vietnamese! 😛 Will be staying there for about 2 or 2 1/2 weeks. Hope to leave next week if everything goes right.

Also, I'm leaving on December 20th for Paris, France. Will stay for 2 weeks.

Any good deals? Buy.com isn't having free shipping anytime soon... 😛
 
Dude don't visit Hanoi. Gotta visit Saigon. It's much more fun in the South than the North. That's where all them commies is.

Bill Clinton also decided it would be better in Vietnam, can you blame him? What would you rather do, sit in D.C. and listen to Dems bitch or go to Vietnam? And to boot send Hillary on ahead to "check things out." Think Bill is trying to get rid of her before she gets rid of him? You be the judge.
 
I was in VietNam during MAY. $$$$$ Goes a long way. I was Not too Impressed with the cusisine though.

After that I also went to Vegas with my GF

Both Trips Rocked- Go to VIetnam first because (airfare aside) you will spend far less than you will lose in Vegas.
 
Wow, vacation deals... too bad there's no departure from Canada. And i'll like some info on deals for Vietnam as well (South only) if anybody finds any. Oh, and Disney packages 😛
 
dude: The Palace Station is off the Strip about a mile, on Sahara Blvd. You probably wouldn't walk to the Strip from there, but it's not very far if you want to take a cab or bus.

To travel to Asia I've been using this service . Look under promotions (75% off) for hotels in VN. For air travel usually Eva Air (of Taiwan) offers the best rate but if you consider a stopover at HongKong then Cathay Pacific's hotel deals including airport transfers are best (around 20-25 USD/night).

I usually go through my travel agency and fly via Cathy Pacific anyways. So I can look at this and get some nice rooms.

For those who did not find a departure city, try Lowestfare. They always have warm deals for Vegas. Example of Aladdin, 2 nights plus air, $135 from LAX, $285 from Dallas, $325 from NYC.

 
Vegas is awesome...

I believe that the cheap hotels are in the ghetto part of vegas... Luxor and Treasure Island are the only ones that I know for sure are on the main strip. Not sure about some of the others...

 
There are no hotels in "ghetto" part of Las Vegas. There are some areas that are not as nice as others, such as the area around the Stratosphere, and the downtown area is a little older, but has recently been "cleaned up" by the local Metro police dept.

The Alladin just recently reopened, after imploding the old Alladin and building a brand new world class resort.

The Treasure Island and Luxor are nice hotels, but there are a few newer ones to stay at, if you can get a "hot deal." Try the Bellagio, Paris, Venetian, Alladin (see above). All new, world class resorts.

Vietnam is a very small country. You can go to Saigon easily. Sure money goes a long way there but the hotel also just as expensive as here in the US. Bring a lot of Vietnamese change (money) to bribe your way thru. The trip will go a lot smoother. The bribery starts at the airport and remember, do not bring a wallet. You will get your wallet picked. Your most valuable document will be your passport. Don't lose it or else you will stay a little longer than 3 weeks. The place to visit in Asia is Thai Lan if you are a guy or Hong Kong, Taiwan. Vietnam still needs a lot of improvement. By the way, I am VNese. Email me if you need any more info.

I hope you got to Vegas on the weekend or else you will be disappointed. The good nude shows are on the weekend. And all other good shows are on the weekend too. Most shows will have half nude females. Prositution is mostly legal there 🙂
