Still full price in Greenville SC. The manager said if I can produce a copy of the reciept stating the clearance price that he'd honor it.

If anyone can help I'd appreciate it.

I looked in Concord, NH today - they are rearranging the store and it is a mess. There was one like the original post linked to, but no box, paperwork, or power cord. No price, either. There was one very close to it, but with a window, $30 marked down to $20. There was also one that was shaped to lay down on the floor or on a seat, with a shoulder strap, $30 marked down to $20. I took that one home.
It's very quiet and seems to work pretty well to cool, I haven't tried the heat side yet. No 110v adapter, just the 12v cord. Going on a road trip tomorrow, now I'll have cold drinks!

got one that looked similar to the $30 ones -- looks more like a mini-cooler instead of a mini-fridge.

sitting all alone on the clearance shelf. It scanned at $0, and when I went to buy it, the checker used their hand-held pricer -- and it came out to $7.48.
I'll keep it in the box till I decide if I need it -- or it may become someones Christmas present.... dunno....

it was the last one in the Tacoma, WA location (near the Tac mall)

I picked one up tonight and it looked as though it may have been a return. I got it home and sure enough, there are no power cords. Its going straight back.

How long would one recommend to let this run without the car running? i'm thinking about getting one then hardwiring it to the 12v line (since my car requires key to be on ACC for teh 12v outlet to be on).

I first found them at the W. Broad Target. I haven't really looked elsewhere.

I'm curious about this myself. Does letting it run unattended with the car off pose any risks (i.e. killing the battery, causing electrical damage, etc...)?

These pull about 4 amps at 12v so you'll get at least a couple of hours before you run out of battery. It'll all depend on your battery's "reserve capacity". Most car batteries are between 60 and 110 minutes at 25 amps. At 5 amps that would be about 300-500 minutes in a perfect world.

No joy in Colorado Springs. They have $69.99 and $49.99 Vector mini-fridge units at a couple of the stores, but nothing that was ever $59.99 - and the others scan full price :(

The $69.99 had a brushed metallic look and a digital temp display. $49.99 was smaller, and no display. Model numbers were something like 224/2224 and 225 ????

Bummer!

In store, it's marked at $49.99, different from online where it is $59.99. It will ring up as $12.48 even though the in store scanners show differently. That's what happened to me in San Diego.

Warning, Vector makes pretty shoddy products. I had 5 fridges from them, from various Targets around me, all dead within a few weaks. I kept exchanging them until the store was out of stock, then got a giftcard to move the exchanging over to a new Target. I finally gave up and bought a non-portable minifridge.

Tagged at $49.99, scanned at $49.99 and rang up at $49.99 at cashier. This was in Sunnyvale. I even tried both UPCs, open and closed packaging.

this clearance price only relates to the GREY PLASTIC FRIDGE, not any of the other colors or styles that are the same size.
