Vector graphics and VB...can do?

A buddy of mine and I are planning to do an old school shooter as a little side project fairly soon.
We were thinking that vectors (like you can do in PSP) would be cool, since you don't have to worry
about screen size and resolution (well, as much, anyhoo).

Is this feasible? Or is it just a nice idea?

I forget which version of VB he has, but I've got PSP 7, and we've both got time to kill 😀

BTW, any links to sites about making games in VB would be appreciated.

I'd recommend you try learning openGL or something like that instead. ITs much more powerful and not all that hard.

I'm not the one programing, so it's not really all that up to me (I guess I'll be doing the art though...).

We like the old 2d look of stuff, so that's why vectors are interesting me. As big or small as you need 'em,
no major pixelation either way, etc. Plus its something different. I suppose (if done well) things could look
sorta anime-ish.

I doubt he'd try doing 3d in VB, but there's no telling, to be honest.
