VDIMM voltage.

Hi.

I have GeIL PC3500 Ultra Platinum RAM @2.5.3.3.7.

I am trying to get 2.2.2.7, and the PC won't boot. I have increased the Voltage to 2.9 and its still wont allow me to boot. My max VDIMM voltage with my IC7 MAX3 is 3.2, will this cause any permanent issues, if i up it to this level ..

I though if you ran the RAM, below its rated level, you should be able to change timings easily??

Thanks

I wouldn't increase the voltage anymore than where it's at. Also what speed are you running it at? If a pc3200 then you probably won't be able to tighten the timings much. Have you tried 2.3.3.7? or 2.2.2.8?
