Here is my setup:

E6600 @ 3.33Ghz
Asus P5W DH
Crucial Ballistics 4-4-4-12 v2.2

What do you guys recommend I set my VCore to? I currently have it set to AUTO but every now and then my computer reboots itself. I think it's because of the VCore settings. It's the only thing I haven't changed.

My Idle Temps with Auto VCore is 43. Any Suggestion would help. THANKS!

Have you actually tried monitoring what vcore setting Auto chooses with your current overclock?

go Into Manual, both in Ram timings, and Voltage control

Bring your V-Core up in increments 1.275 and if it is not stable to 1.375. try not to exceed that voltage for now.

if this does not cure the issue open your RAM timings up .. and that should cure the issue.

at 1.375 you should be able to run 3.4 Ghz @ 368 FSB ... this obviously also depends upon your CPU cooling.

Thanks for your input! I have it running at 1.3125v and it has not crashed yet. However, I did notice my temp went up by 5 degrees C.

more power = higher temp.

My Vcore = 1.48v @ 3.42ghz on air.
Temps is 27-28c idle in 41c-42c load (Orthos)

what are you using to keep orthos load increase to only 14c? I'm using a tuniq tower and have my vcore set to 1.48 @3.48 on an e6750, and go from 33c to 49c immediately, then it goes up over 50 during the day and drops back down at night. Do you have a TRultraXtreme lapped or something? That idle seems awfully high, too, for such a low load temp.

27c-28c is not awfully high for idle temp.
When Orthos runs, it climbs up to low 40c.
I consider those temp numbers pretty good.

I'm not sure what you meant, otherwise.

At load typically you get a 15c+ jump in coretemp with orthos smallFFT running. To have your load temp so low usually means it idles lower than you claim too. Nobody is doubting you, but looking for more info. What stepping E6600 do you have? What cooling? etc

For instance with my rig in sig (1.42v after droop) I idle high, like 42c-47c depending on ambient temp (I have an early week CPU one of the first actually). My load will hop to near 60c with orthos.

yeah, I'm at 33c idle and around 52c load with a tuniq tower, e6750, 1.48v and 3.48 ghz.
