vcore: kill the overvolt???

my default vcore seems to be about 1.60v or so ( reading from bios, easytune, and speedfan )... should i set the vcore in the bios to something lower or just leave it alone? tia

Since you overclocked your CPU, just keep it there to get the stability it needs at the higher speed. And don't be worried, you could go up to 1.7V without any problem (except heat...). Probably your mobo is overvolting a bit.

my mobo definately overvolts... its a party in there... w00p!

i have just read too many posts about cpus dying under vcore violence... that seems to be the leading cause of $$$ down the drain because of OCing... i cant get past 150 fsb no matter what the settings anyway... so i rest here and wonder 😀
