My system.
AMD 64 3000+ 305x9=2745Mhz
DD TDX water block
vcore is 1.65 according to CPUZ and SpeedFan
My temps are 32c idle and 39c load.
I know my vcore is high and i'm just checking to see how high is safe. Is 2.7v out of the question. I'm not looking to keep my cpu for 10 years but I figure i could get a new one in 6-12 months. If santa doesn't bring me one that is. 2.7Ghz is rock stable but right now i'm still testing it. So what do you think a good vcore would be in my case?
Thanks

I definitely wouldn't give it any more voltage. Watercooling just keeps the temps lower, it doesn't keep you from destroying the cpu with too much voltage, which is a possibility. Plus, you have an E3 stepping, not an E6. You've more than likely hit your max with that chip.

edit: Most of us consider 1.60v the max we'd give any processor, even with watercooling.

cranked my Opty148 up to 1.63v to try to get 2850 speeds but not stable even though "cool" - try if you do not care but chances are you will get nowhere. Isettled for the best stable speed which was 2780.

I wouldn't go any higher on the vcore than what you already are at. That's high, but your temps are fine so everything is good.
