Vcore 1.47v normal?

I know nothing about vcore or any other voltage for that matter. I just booted up one day and my CoreCenter (my msi motherboard came with it, it monitors temp, cpu freq, voltages) alarm came up. I checked, and the vcore rating was in the red. The setting at which the alarm would go off is 1.550 v. Since the default button doesn?t work (for setting what values the alarms go off) I not sure whether my is vcore really low, or if I accidentally changed the alarm value somehow. Plz give me some input.

I thought 1.5 was the default fr newcastles, correct me if I'm wrong... If not, it is possible that your mobo is overvolting your CPU. Are your temps very high? Usually when yu increase the vcore, the CPU temps go up as well...

if that is normal, i'm good. I don't overclock anything on my pc. As for the temperatures, my motherboard has a problem and it can't read accurate temps (it displays as high as 65C sometimes). Its a common problem with my MB and all teh models have it (jsut check newegg reviews on it)

1.5v is default on the newcastles...The MSI boards are notorious underclocers so 1.47v is probably right on....

1.47 is good. my pc only gets a 1.47 also.(though it is averaged through the power saving feature cycles).
