VB Programming Newbie

I am taking a Visual Basic course this spring. I already have VB 6.0 and was wanting to get started learning some of the basics. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have experience writing C, Perl/JavaScripts, and a little JDBC for Oracle.

Links are great, but need to be for beginners. I want the simple "My 1st VB Program" stuff.

I think so. I am just starting some very BASIC programs. So far, so good.
