So i posted a problem last time and it was resolved. Hoping that I can get some help this time too. First my computer specs:

Pentium IV 2.4 GHz
768 MB RAM
80 GB HD
Windows XP SP2

Security Programs:
Zone Alarm
AVG
Spybot
Ad-Aware
MSFT Anti-Spyware

So i have 4 problems/suspicions.

1. I'm using the default login screen (click your icon, type in your password, as opposed to typing in username and password) and the "Type your password" dialogue that i get whenever i click my icon, is in 2 different fonts. Not at the same time, but at different times. Is this a problem, or am i paranoid.

2. There are 2 computer administrator accounts. When i log out of one of them, I get a black screen with a flashing underscore in the top left hand corner, and there is nothing i can do to my computer, except turn it off. Is this also a problem, or am i paranoid.

3/4. Finally, AVG and MSFT-Anti Spyware Do not load on startup anymore, and i didn't change anything about them. Is this a problem as well?

I scanned my comp with AVG, Ad-Aware, Spybot, MSFT Anti-Spyware, none could find anything significant (Ad-Aware and Spybot found cookies i needed to delete, but thats it). I'm wondering if anyone's had any of these problems, and what i could do to fix them, if they are indeed problems.

Thanks a bunch.

Are you sure the programs aren't running at startup or just not showing up in the task manager. I've seen more than one case where programs stop showing up there but their process is still running. Might want to try a repair of your OS if this is the case, that or uninstall/reinstall the programs in question if it's always the same ones.

In regards to 3/4 go to start -> run -> msconfig then click on the startup tab and make sure that the two of them are checked. If they are, and you are positive that they are not starting up with windows, then you can check the even viewer in Control Panel -> Administrative Tools then in the event viewer check for any red icons on the left. These will alert you to services that did not start, or encountered problems when starting. I don't understand your question with number one. Are you saying that you are worried about having two different fonts for logon? Thats probably ok. In regards to number 2, when you say log out, which option are you choosing from the shut down menu? Is it the shut down option, or the log off option? And is this specific to only this account?
