Let's try this again. Do you think this is an acceptable cooler? Is it OK that it runs in excess of 82°C and runs into it's thermal limiter? Do you think it's what a $700 premium card should do?
Whats the difference between a 699$ card and (95C) 549$ card release suddenly?
Also this isn't new, despite you may try to make ti so. Its a standard practice on AMD and Nvidia both.
GTX680 does the same, above listed boost clocks.
GTX980 does the same, above listed boost clocks.
GTX1080 does the same, above listed boost clocks.
Same applies for a bunch of other cards. And its due to the selected fan profile.
But somehow this is now the biggest issue in the world.
Custom cards comes very fast, so if you want a non blower type to run with 3 fans or whatever then there is that option. Just as always.
