It never did. This product is the biggest scam the world has ever seen! EVERYONE who buys this crap is a brainwashed, deluded, RETARD!

How in the world is a "creme" going to pass through flesh, fat, muscle, bone, all the way to an organ to sooth discomfort without disintegrating everything in its path?

All it ever did was make my chest all sticky and irritate my nose! Are we just going to sit idly by while they do this to millions of innocent men, women, and CHILDREN every year!?

If I was supreme overlord of Earth I'd hunt all the makers of Vapor Rub and publicly put there necks in a noose and left to be shot! Then I'd kill there families! I'd kill there neighbors! I'd kill there pets! I'd kill ANYONE who even speaks of this FILTH!

Where does convection lead air to go? Up past the chest to the nose.
 
Most of these cold/flu things don't work worth a shit. The only things that work well.

1. NyQuil (alcohol content and zombification factor just knocks you out cold).
2. Acetaminophen/Ibuprofen (fever reducer/pain reducer)

That's really it. How fast you recover all depends mainly on your immune system and how much rest you get.

I tend to find when I have a fever I take a hot shower (sauna style) and it tends to clear me up well.

it's not supposed to pass through your chest, it's supposed to mentholate your air intake.

and for that reason, if i have a cold I use it on my upper lip / just inside the nostrils. (much more effective.)
 
OP trying to compete with norseamd and his Valve thread? You might be running a distant 4th or 5th. Keep trying!

You're suppose to rub in on while singing soft kitty warm kitty little ball of fur happy kitty sleepy kitty purr purr purr, then it will work.

I find it works well to soothe a stuffy nose, I put a whole bunch on my upper lip.

Avoid the eye area though. You can ruin your eye ball. Saw a pretty nasty post on Reddit where somebody used to put it right on their eye ball, it was some kind of high. That person is blind now. I would avoid that general area just to play it safe.

Oh and hot peppers can help to soothe a stuffy nose too, or very hot salsa. Basically find the hottest thing you can and just eat lot of it.
 
You're ranting about a product you're using incorrectly. Next time try taking a swig of antifreeze, I heard that clears your sinuses right up.
 
Vapor Run contains oil of eucalyptus or menthol, the vapors of which helps clear nasal passages and gets rid of that "stuffy head" feeling. It also has a warming effect on your chest, which can be soothing. It's on a cure for anything, it's just a symptom treatment, and if you don't have nasal issues it's not going to help with anything.

During the 80's, Vics Vapor rub was a popular personal lubricant.
Its still commonly used in several countries to "enhance vitality" during love making.

There was a thread in the Love and Relationships forum about a few years back.
