Vanilla flavored Coca Cola

Seeing the lite coke thread made me remember what our coke merchandiser was telling us. I guess it's already out on the market in some areas and detroit is soon to have it too, but there is a new flavor of coke...Vanilla. Not sure when we're going to get it at kmart, but our Coca Cola merchandiser is a good friend of mine and says we'll be getting it soon. Anybody else heard about this?

I always get vanilla in my coke at places the Steak and Shake......... I love it.

But this is the vanilla flavoring I prefer..... more caffeine is good caffeine!

I do believe I tried this or something like this at the Coke plant in Atlanta... Didn't really like it but a few of my friends loved it.

Heh, good one. I wish those threads didn't keep getting locked/deleted.


Btw, there's been vanilla Coke here (in Rochester) since at least 1998, but only in restaurants. A friend of mine freshman year (he was an upperclassman) used to get it all the time when a group of us went out to dinner. I don't drink any cola, so I don't know how it was.

oh i forgot you are from canadia. yeah pop. we called it that in Mn and now i live in AZ and call it soda. you will soon call all soft drinks "coke".

Vanilla Coke rocks. I get them wherever I can. Most places with a true soda fountain can make a good one.

I'll be sure and pick up a case when it's available here in Chicago. Can't wait to mix it with some booze too!

Pepsi is also coming out with a Pepsi Blue. Mellow Yellow now comes in a Cherry and Melon flavor.

No Vanilla Coke here in SW MN yet that I know of.

i like getting vanilla cokes at places like TGI Friday's but i dunno how it will taste from a can. i mean, look how Coke jacked up the tasty combo of diet coke and lemon. (their version tastes like fruity pebbles).

I love vanilla flavoured coke, I get it at malt shoppes all the time.

However, I don't believe they can pull it off because it will never have enough flavouring to make it worth my while.
