Vanilla Coke

Someone had a bottle of Vanilla coke at school today . He said he got it at a nearby grocery store. I called the store and they said they dont' have it, so I'm kind of confused..

I'm going to ask that kid again and try to pick up vanilla coke tomorrow .

According to the Coke site, distribution begins Wednesday, May 15. Of course, those of us that frequent Waffle House have had Vanilla Coke for quite a while now....

Regular. Diet is just gross. Coke made a huge mistake by releasing Lemon Coke only in diet. I haven't even tried the lemon stuff, because drinking diet simply sucks.

Jerboy while I'm not the biggest fan of Lemon diet Coke, if this new Coke flavor isn't released in a "diet" version, I for one won't drink it. An no, I'm not overweight I just prefer diet soda over regular. Personal preference

Think more along the lines of CREME SODA or sasparilla. Vanilla coke I thought is not about vanilla in regular coke.

Bleh. The Diet Lemon Coke tastes like window washing fluid. Nastiest stuff ever. Too bad, too, cause I like the regular Lemon Pepsi. I could be completely wrong, but haven't I heard of Vanilla Coke before? And I mean years ago. If I asked I would have said it was already a flavor.

I got on this weekend at my local HEB Food Pantry. Its not that great. It tastes like regular coke with just a slight hint of vanilla. I thought there would be more vanilla. Overal just....eh.

Does not taste like cream soda at all. Basically it is a Coke with a hint of vanilla.

By the way, the packaging looks very similar to regular Coke and might be hard to distinguish between the two. So keep your eyes peeled for the vanilla version, which has the standard red wrapper with a cream colored "wave" added.

My thoughts exactly. I drink only diet Coke and Pepsi, too. I personally think that too much sugar is bad for me.

You do realize, however, that the "diet" versions of carbonated soft drinks are much less healthy than the originals, right? The chemicals used to make it "diet" are worse for you than the 20 extra calories (or however much) there are in the original...
