Posted on the official forums by Aradune (aka Brad McQuaid):
True, we're totally focussed on the PC game right now and nothing's confirmed either way as to whether we'll have an Xbox 360 client at some point.

That said, if we do offer the game eventually on more than one platform, I'd like to see them share the same world. I don't think there's any need to seperate worlds/shards based on platform or client.
Guess we should've guessed it, seeing as how M$ is funding them, but you'd think of all people, Brad would have at least ensured seperate servers :(

Any MMO is as good as its community.

It will be truly a problem if there are no segregated servers...at least we can pray that the console kiddies will get bored with it quick, though. I have developed aggresive allergies to all sorts of AoLsque internet shorthand...

I actually installed a mod in WoW (RPfilter) that correctly capitalizes words, adds punctiation and blocks certain forms of internet shorthand: I have it set so that 'lol' becomes '*laughs* and 'plz' becomes 'I beg of you'...

:D

Kinda like I did on a CS server, I had a mod that changed "LOL" to "I am xxx", people became a little surprised at first ;)

I don't know about Vanguard, but I'd love to see XBox people coming to my WoW realm, lots of free kills :D

Doesn't that mean they would have to attach a mouse and keyboard to the xbox360? Is this even possible?

I am pretty sure the X-Box 360 will offer USB device support.

This will be the downfall of the game. You think that WoW had a bad community....... just wait for the xbox live servers to share the same ones as the PC.

Our only hope is that it will be too hard and confusing to all the "leet dudes". No PvP in the game would help also (one of the things i like about EQ2) it cuts down on all the kiddos that want to do nothing but "pwn" and grief others, hopefully they will stay on the PvP servers or go play Guild Wars.

It will probably turn out to be another WoW, a great game that the community ruins.
