Well in reality you can pretty much get whatever women you want. Is this a good thing? Probably not but probably harder then the average Joe with no lack of confidence and such.

Social status is all based on wealth. There is nothing to gain for being a wife of an athlete... well....unless you're Jason Kidd's wife. (Honestly, how many do you know?) I don't even know often if they are even married.

Anyways, I'm sure the media would've had a field day trying to get a story from her if they were to break up anyways, since Kobe is such a private person granting her even more status right there.

I'm sure his wealth and fame was one of the attractive aspects of Bryant to her, but I don't think it was the only thing...

not always, I look at my wife at times and I'm still blown away (15 years after we met).. but i'm just a joe. Kobe on the other hand probably has had tons of extremely beautiful women bed him (or try). I can see him getting bored with a person's looks.
