Vanessa and I went out for dinner with sharon (a family friend of hers) and we came back and decided to go for a walk. Since the dogs were making a lot of noise I said fine lets take the dogs.
So we were walking down glenoaks and tippy suddenly darted into the bushes pulling me along. That's when we noticed this old man lying down .. tippy went and sniffed him. Anyway we thoguht he was dead, but it wasnt like an emergency so i didnt call 911 from the cell phone. We walked hoping to find a payphone and call 911. From teh cell it would have gone to CHP and then I have to ask for Glendale PD etc etc. Anyway we walked and walked and finally said fsck this we will just go to GPD's HQ and tell it there.
So we go tell it there and we are walking back, we see a helicopter circling.. and I tell vanessa that is our doing. Anyway we get home and we check teh answering machine and her mom has left 2 messages, one saying where we were around 10:20 and then another at 10:53 (we walked in at 10:55) saying glendale pd wanted to talk to her. She gave her parents number rather than her place in glendale. Anyway her mom was hysterical.. she called sharon (the lady we went out for dinner with) to check up on us. So while she is talking to her mom, sharon arrived. She asked us what was going on and we told her we found a dead guy on teh side of the road. Anyway after a whole lot of talking from vanessa's mom we got off teh phone.. then we called glendale pd and told them that some officer had called. We started explaining our situation and he said "oh is this vanessa"..then he told us that the guy was dead drunk....
Anyway sharon had left by then so we called her back and told her the guy was drunk, she saw lots of cops, and paramedics and stuff in the area (while going back to her place)..
Anyway we went out for boba, and came back and the officer called and thanked us for finding a missing person who was missing for a week or so.
Anyway that was the good deed of the night..
