So about an hour and a half ago, I was sitting there playing XBOX when I heard this loud crash outside my house. I ran outside to check out what happened. Didn't see any people or any cars, so I checked my two cars outside for anything. Nothing at all.

So I look at my house. Turns out someone smashed my garage door. Its smashed in probably about three inches, doesn't look like its going up or down anytime soon. 🙁

Apparently you were playing X-Box instead of handing out treats, sounds like you got a trick.

Most of that will push right back out, the door will be functional, just not pretty.

Sh!t like this is not a "trick". This is deserving of a severe beating with a pipe if the perpetrator were to be found.

Guess they weren't happy with my candy! LOL, I hafta laugh about it now. There's no point in staying mad over this when I don't really have a clue who could've done it. Just filed a police report so I can file a claim.

All of my neighbors decided to turn off their lights and not hand out any treats this year. Trust me, you don't want to walk down my street. Its not that we are selfish or not keeping with tradition

It's just that these type of "pranks," like the one mentioned here, disrepectful kids, teenagers, disrepectful parents track all over the lawn, sprinklers on their way to get 2-5 cents of candy. To top it off, some kids and even their parents aren't courteous to say thanks.

Halloween isn't fun anymore. I suspect that the people who played this "prank" on you waited all year to get even. Just mean vandals. As a home owner - year after year of this thing can turn you off for good. Go to a richer neighborhood kids.

Some ass has been putting vasaline on our gate lock at night every now and then for the past month or so. Happened 2 or three times so far. I'm going to start sitting outside with a camera to not only get a picture of this pathetic little stain who's doing it, but hopefully flash blind him with my point-blank camera flash in the night, and if I get a good shot in maybe he'll have his retinae fried and need glasses afterward. Hopefully at the least he'll be stunned enough that I can hit him with a stick or something.

Wastes of human life, I swear...

Can someone clarify how eggs (even if they were ostrich eggs), made such a big dent in the garage door??

Also, what's the big deal about vaseline on a gate lock??

it gets real irritating after the 3rd time. even i have high tolerance for many things, and this thing pisses me off just reading what happened.

I'd bet it wasn't eggs. Too much liquid and not enough of what could be shells to be eggs.

Vaseline gets in the lock. If there's vaseline in there, a key won't fit in there. The end.
 
People who did that to your garage door should get their faces beat in w/ a 2x4 w/ rusty nails on it. Violence is the only solution.
 
That's nuts. When I was a kid we had to earn our treats, these days you just buy a costume and threaten violence. last year some kids smashed up our plant pots but from the look of things, it could have been far worse.
