*Spoilers*-- proceed with caution!

ok, so my boyfriend got me into playing this game and im currently in hollywood.
I have spoke with Isaac Abrams who sent me out to 702 Kings Way to defeat some thing and i completed the quest.... every time i go back to Isaac to tell him that I completed the quest, all he asks me is if ive headed out to Kings Way yet.... i dont know if this is a bug in the game because the quest is in my completed log.

I have currently done ALL of my quests except for one from Downtown where LaCroix is asking me to find some guy named Gary to get some info or whatever about the Ankaran Sarcophagus... but he says i need to talk to Isaac, who seems to be stuck on asking me if ive gone out to Kings Way, which I already haveeee.

nothing i do makes a difference so im running around with one incomplete quest and im stuck because i have no options to move forward

i was wondering if anyone knows of something that i can do within the game or if there is anything i type into that "thingie" (when you hit the ` key it pops up, lol) to fix this issue... i tried going back to an earlier saved point but if i go too far back, i lose all the awesome shit ive already done...

can anyone help me!?!? or am i screwed and i have to start over? :(

King's Way: in the basement there is an entrance to the sewers. You're supposed to make a long trek through them to find the nosferatu area, then talk to the head nosferatu.

Be sure you have lots of ammo and are carrying some blood packs. Hopefully you aren't a Ventrue so you can snack on tasty rats while you're down there :)

Also, while in the nosferatu lair you can talk to a two other people to get side quests. If you see a CD-ROM lying around, pick it up for later.

alright, ill look into that. thank you

If you apply any new patches I am pretty sure you'll need to restart your campaign.

I would recommend loading an older save and replaying the King's Way quest.

You can get back into the nosferatu lair using the crypt exit you left by, in the graveyard.

When you talked to the head nosferatu (the one who starts out invisible) didn't he tell you to go to chinatown to find one of his people?

Edit: Gary is the head nosferatu

And if I remember correctly you'll want to check out a newspaper after you finish them. That one was funny.

It's been too long since I've played that game.

Yep, but getting the fixes from one of the two main community patches / mods is worth it.

VPTMB has three rules:
1. Apply the last official patch
2. Apply the latest community patch (either the one that just fixes or the one that adds / changes contents)
3. Finish it before you die of thirst for you will not want to leave your computer as it is a true rival of Deus Ex 1 for the FPS-RPG hybrid genre.

If you're using the community patch that fixes and adds/changes, the last several revisions do not require the official patch. Its added into the community patch.

No, not the weird guy in the Kings Road house who disappeared into the ground. That was the Sabat Termieze (something like that) not a nosferatu. Gary is the nosferatu leader.

Do you have a save from back in the nosferatu lair, after the sewers?

Besides the two obvious nosferatu, you go forward into a dining room filled with corpses. Gary appears and talks to you, and gives you the Chinatown quest. You then go out the other door (not the one you came in) and there is the exit to the crypts, in the Hollywood graveyard where you got Romero the hooker.

the only problem i see is if i didnt come OUT of the crypts, then i dont know if i can get IN them... grrrrrrrrr

if i go back to a previous save, i will have lost SOOOOOOOO much that ive done. ill have to look to see if i saved anything from the sewers.

The crypt is the building down the path past Romero, where you found the first videotape. The nosferatu entrance is one of the gated spaces in it that has dim lighting.

There is a building behind the main street in Hollywood that has doors into the sewer areas, if you pick the right door you should get close the the end of the sewers. Try that if the crypt door won't open for you.

Shame Obsidian Entertainment did not (could not) buy them and their developers. It would have been nice to reunite Black Isle Studios after Interplay fell apart.

This post makes me want to play the game again... despite all its shortcomings. For me there only seem to be two vampire games I've ever enjoyed... the Castlevania Series (pre-PS2) and this. I dont' know why they are so hard to come by but the plot in this is phenomenal. I also had this error the first time through playing, hope everything is fixed for you and you have no more major bugs.
