Just picked this up during the Steam sale. Never played it before.

Before I get started, are there any mods I should look at - graphical or gameplay?

I'm not interested in any of the sexy-time crap (which after a quick search, seemed to be about 90% of what's out there).

afaik, there are no worthwhile graphical mods for the game. some of the characters still look alright, but the game has aged alright. but it's still really good.

Yes - I thought there used to be a page on GOG that had all that info and links..but the game isn't on there.

Just look around they are out there and greatly improve the game.

You need the unofficial patch. Should be ready to play after that, though there are some texture mods out there.

There was an extensive remake mod in work, but CCP killed it. Shitheads.
