Valve cover gaskets can go either way. Just looking at that I'd say 4 out of 10 on the bitch scale but I've never done any work on a '91 Maxima.

My VW Beetle (OG aircooled)? 1 out 10.
My F-150? 10 out of 10.
 
I've seen worse. Look around the interweb for a DIY guide. On a car that age, I'd probably replace the PCV components while I'm in there. If that system is gunked, you might end up blowing oil past your new VC gaskets anyway.
