Yeah, I just looked at the projected pricing above and it's really really funky...

The AWP is now CHEAPER?!

The changes in pricing are so insignificant...

The only price change that is not significant is the Deagle.

so you've never played ANY type of computer game (be it RTS/FPS/RPG) that had an game economy? I mean, RTS is a genre built around it, FPS's use it quite a bit now. Any RPG is struttured around it, especially MMORPG's.

you can just say "sorry, i completely misunderstood" rather then take a shot at the fact that some games have an in game economy for no logical reason.

I haven't played CS in a while, but I never had the impression that money was ever an issue in the game. Unless prices go up 50% I don't think this will really change gameplay.

You obviously don't play many games at all, not just counter-strike.

RPG's use "play money" to buy equipment.
RTS's use "play money" or "play resources" to buy stuff.
Some Sports/Racing games use "play money" to buy stuff
Some FPS's use "play money" to buy equipment
Platformers, Adventure... just about any genre.
