Value select of Performance ram?

Right now i have all value select corsair and kingston (512x4). They all run in dual channel. I was just wondering if i buy some performance ram (ddr) will i see a huge differance in games like bf2. I dont skip a lot in bf2 but sometimes low fps and that might have nothing to do with it...idk. So if i bought something like ocz gold or silver will i see a differance. I dont overclock and i was thinking getting sli for my 7800gt but my ram might hold me back.

amd 64 3200+
7800gt
2gb ram

I'm not too sure about gaming systems. but in general, if you have 2GB RAM, then your system might benefit more from a graphics card upgrade.

Also, sometimes, you need to slow the DDR speeds down (CAS ratings) to make them more stable with each other. This in turn might speed the system up - This is just a theory though. If it is wrong, someone please tell me.

What does low fps have to do with stability?

Anyways, with those specs, I'd be more worried about what is bogging down your windows environment other than your components which should have no problem playing your game.
