Value Monitors

Hey everyone. I'm looking for a good priced CRT monitor with a decent resolution and at around 16 inches. Are there any good suggestions? this is for a pretty cheap system, so I don't need anything huge. Any ideas are welcome.

I have a Samtron (which are made by Samsong) 76a in I can't complain. The max resolution is 1280x1024 and it's a 17" monitor. It's extreamly clear and with good contrast compaired to other value monitors.

I'm using a 17 inch KDS Avitron AV-7TF and it works like a charm, and has better color than ANY of my friends' non-flatscreen monitors, no matters who seems to have made it.

It goes for about $150-$175 online too, not too shabby.

If you're looking to buy a new monitor, I second MistaTastyCakes recommendation. KDS monitors have an excellent price-to-value ratio and one of the best warranties in the industry.

I've become very fond of my Samsung 753df, so much so that I've recommended them to several other people. There were some terrific deals on them awhile back- $125-$40 rebate + free shipping. No wonder the vendor went broke. Several of my coworkers bought them for home use, no complaints. Korean goods are a bargain right now, they're getting killed by the exchange rate...

I'm sure they're not the greatest monitors in the world, but I'm sure they're tough to beat in the pricerange....

I am thinking of going the Samsung route. It's at about 160 on newegg. Where can I find a place for good info/reviews/prices on monitors? Newegg only has the Samsung. Sorry if these questions are a bit newbie.
