GeForce GTX 460SE graphics core is further shielding to just 288 CUDA Core, obviously most of the game tests, were behind the GeForce GTX 460 1GB and GeForce GTX 460 768MB, but on the whole still opponents excellent new Radeon HD 5830 both Radeon HD 6850 are each other has.

In addition, GeForce GTX 460SE version addresses GeForce GTX 460 768MB version of the greatest weakness is that when turned anti-aliasing feature, a serious decline in its effectiveness, and even overtake the dilemma Radeon HD 6850, GeForce GTX 460SE With complete 256Bit, 1GB memory allocation, there is no advantage to be Radeon HD 6850.

Editors believe that, GeForce GTX 460SE practice to replace GeForce GTX 460 768MB absolutely right, especially the GTX-class product mainly for the performance gamer market, users need a higher resolution, antialiasing turned AA to enjoy the game more texture , although the GeForce GTX 460 768MB have more CUDA Core but do not have enough memory bandwidth and ROP units, instead of a graphics architecture imbalance between opponents attack weaknesses.

IMO, Looks like the GTX460 SE will compete with the 6850, while NV leaves the factory overclocked 460's to compete with 6870. The 768mb 460 will either be EOL or filling the gap between the GTX460 1gb($199), GTS450($129).

the Metro 2033 scores make no sense. the gtx460 768mb has just 17% more "cuda cores" yet beats the gtx460 se by 50% at 1680 and 1920 with no AA.

Value? It all depends on pricing. The HD6970 or GTX580 would be a total failure if priced at $9999 for instance.

Dont know the review site, dont really trust the numbers. Not sure about which settings they used for both cards ect.

Why is it only tested in 3 games? streetfighter? lol seriously.
Are metro2033 and Farcry games that favor nvidia cards?

Look at the cpu scores in the 3d mark vantage benches...bloated cpu scores for nvidia cards.
Which version of Heaven? which mode of tessellation?

Id want to see it from a more reliable review site but,... yeah if those numbers are right on then the 460 SE looks like good value.

Yea a lot of the other numbers seem way off. Seems biased against AMD/ATI cards as their numbers are coming in much lower then what anandtech and other sites have put up.

Value depends on so many variables.

I got a friend he has a 480gtx, he plays BC2 as do I, he have had microstutter and lacks full gpu use in the game for MONTHS.
I used a 5850 and now 6850 crossifre and it has worked flawless.
I got more value out of my cards than he has in one game.

if these benchs are accurate, the 768s are not enough for higher rez due to limited frame buffer, but the 1GB SE might not make too much sense either since its lack of hardware is performance limiting at higher rez. But obviously NV is trying a rebalacing act here, cut down on cores while upping memory and bandwidth. It looks like a successor to 768s.

With actual prices in the marketplace right now, these cards really don't compete at the same price point anyway. If the 460 rebates disappear, and the prices rise, as the 6850 drops back to ~MSRP the 460SE may come more into the pciture. Right now, I can't imagine who would buy this card unless NV stops making the 460 and 460 768. You can get those cards on deals for ~$110 and $140 respectively if you look around (AR).

I'll never buy a video card with the SE moniker, it makes me think of fail.
