EDIT: Wow, this game rocks. It looks beautiful, and it has great presentation and story. I don't know what it is, but the game is very intriguing and charming.

If you liked the demo and like strategy/RPG, definitely pick this up. As of 11/8, Amazon has it for $49.99.
 
got it reserveddd. dood i feel like the ps3 is finally picking up. i've got lbp, eternal sonata, and fallout 3 all this week. next week valkyria chonicles! noiceee.
 
This is the only reason left for me to possibly get a PS3 but I dunno. If it is really freaking long maybe I will. I guess I need to check the reviews.
 
Eventually. I liked the demo, but compared to Fable 2 or Persona 4... maybe next year. Also, I'll be playing Fallout 3 for the next three months. I CAN ALREADY TELL.
 
damn it i'm gonna stop preordering games at gamestop unless i'm trading in stuff. it's so much cheaper at amazon and they always seem to get games to me on the actual day of release as opposed to gamestop which has the game the day after the actual release date.
 
This game is now only $45 at the dying Circuit City until 11/17! You go buy now! (I hear it lasts 30 hours or so the first time through).

Also, has anyone also played Operation Darkness on the 360? Which did you like better?

True, I considered impulse-buying VC at Amazon, but $57 is too rich for my blood. The only game I've paid over $40 for in the last 2 years was the collector's edition of Fallout 3.
 
Got it for Christmas but haven't opened it yet...Was too busy with work and the wimminz. Now I'm unemployed, single and don't have health insurance! Only thing I can do safely is work out and play video games for the time being.
 
I never finished it, but I was savoring every moment. I still have it, I just need to get around to finish it. The game is great though, a lot of fun. I just don't want it to end.

Who is the person speaking in the review for IGN?

Is he a reviewer or an announcer. He has a certain type of voice that could've made that game sound great even if the game sucked.

can someone tell me what is so great about this game? the demo did not impress me. I really want a good rpg for the ps3 but this does not look like it will be it because it has no magic, no monsters, and is not a true JRPG its SRPG
