Validating MP3s?

Gunnar

I was wondering if there was a way to validate/fix an MP3 once its been downloaded/ripped. I have several MP3s which I cannot seem to get to play completely in my iPod, and I think its due to an encoding glitch of some sort. Can I fix these songs? Does that mean they need to be encoded again?

Thanks for the info.

Even a corrupt MP3 will generally play. It might sound awful and have lots of wierd noises... but it should still play.
