Most importantly- What is the cutoff date (15th?) for? Is it the last day you can buy the cards and still be eligible for the rabate, or does ATI have to get your rebate coupon in the mail by the 15th?

I just got back from CompUSA and picked up the rebate they have there, which can only be used with compusa receipts, but it says that any receicpt dated between October 1, 2000 and January 15, 2001 it valid for the rebate. I would think it would be the same dates for the Outpost deal.

Hey Bluemax, isn't Business Depot the same thing as Staples.ca?

I'm sure that it is ... and Staples.ca has a 30 off 150 coupon to boot. So, if you can convince ATI that Business Depot is one and the same as Staples.ca then you've got a great deal. I'm thinking hard about this myself. Funny though, when you go to the Staples.ca site you see the Business Depot logo as they are pretty much the same company.

However, it may very well be that ATI will not honor a Staples.ca receipt in lieu of a Business Depot receipt. You may want to call and confirm that baby ...

Oops, found out that it's not offered on the website and i'm pretty sure that the coupon is online only. Forget I even posted ...

Staples.ca once told me that they couldn't ship Quickbooks because "the manufacturer is no longer producing that item". Even called them to "verify" that. Morons.

Anyone else having problems getting the ATI Radeon rebate form from Outpost.com. Outpost claims there is no rebate. ATI says there is and has now stopped faxing the form to purchasers upon request because too many requests are coming in. ATI says it is Outpost's problem to solve. Guess I'll be sending the card back to Outpost. Too bad $170 (including shipping) less $50 rebate for a retail 32MB DDR Radeon.

Yes there is a new rebate program underway (at lower amounts it would seem; see e-mail from ATI below). However, I purchased my card before 1/15/01 and still neither ATI nor Outpost will provide the rebate form. So, beware of the new rebate program if you are going to buy from Outpost.com because ATI and Outpost are definitely NOT on the same page on these rebates.

"Thank you for your inquiry and interest in ATI products.

The outpost.com is a participating retailer in the rebate program. The "Give Me Rebates" rebate program has ended on January 15, 2001. In order for you to qualify for that rebate program, the products has to be purchased on or before January 15, 2001 and the rebate has to be postmarked by February 15, 2001.

There is a new rebate program just begun. ATI's IT'S YOUR PAY DAY! $10/$30/$40 PC Rebate Offer is valid from January 15, 2001 to March 31, 2001.

If you have purchased a retail ATI product from one of the participating resellers listed above and require the rebate coupon please
fax your name, address, phone number, a copy of your sales receipt, and UPC label to 905-882-2620 ATT: ATI Sales Support.

Please indicate that you require the rebate coupon and include what ATI rebate program you require
the coupon for.

on XPERT 2000, XPERT 2000 PRO, XPERT 128, ATI-TV, ATI-TV WONDER, TV WONDER VE, TV WONDER USB, XPERT 98,  XCLAIM TV, XCLAIM TV USB only

I faxed my stuff to ATI on 1/12/01 to get the rebate coupon. I received the coupon on 1/17/01. The coupon has outpost.com symbol on it and it says this rebate is only good for outpost.com customers only. It must be postmarked by 2/15/01, allow 6-8 weeks for processing. No electronic versions of this coupon will be accepted.
