Valentine's Day

Do you give all your family members something?

When I grew it up was about romantic love..

My 7 year old seemed upset when she asked if I got her anything for Valentine's and I said no. So of course I went out and bought her a card and candy for tomorrow and was pretty amazed at all the types of cards you can get for every single family member and pets.

Same goes for Mothers/Fathers day. My dad never used to give my mum anything, but he would help us kids do/get something for her. Now it's like we're expected to give something to sisters, daughters, cousins, pretty much any female with a child.

I blame Hallmark.

I think I used to buy something for my mother when I was a kid, but I can't remember if she gave me anything.

Valentine's Day is very special. The day after Valentine's Day is sometimes even more special. Walgreens puts the Russel Stover chocolate marshmallow and chocolate coconut hearts at 50-75% off.

Nope. Only with the women I was nailing. And now, its just dinner as the GF and I have sex all the time so we dont need a once a year day to express our love. Its everyday.

I'll have to get something for my mother. Probably either flowers, or some interesting dark chocolate. I'll also send my daughter an email.

nope. my nieces are on my shitlist at the moment, the one should consider herself lucky that I'm getting her a birthday present next month. lol. spent $200 on each of them for Christmas and they were total brats about it.

when I was single, I'd send flowers to some of my female single friends, but otherwise I just get a small gift for my significant other.

Growing up my parents gave us gifts and candy on Valentines day. Don't have kids so I'm not sure what I would do but I imagine I would do the same.

I blame whiney bitches that complain every single time that someone else gets something and they didn't.

Oh wait, thats every female.

I do the card, dinner, movie and flowers for my wife only...good old Costco lol ( flowers and movie from Costco)

I don't celebrate holidays, retailers juts trying to grab my money and run for what? I don't think so. The only holiday I celebrated what Jewish ones, that was a good way to get out of school.
