Valentine One Remote 39.00

Hmmm ....... this needs to be plugged into the $399 Valentine One radar
detector to work .... am I correct ? .... $438 for the complete unit ?

Owned a valentine 1, hated it. Save the $100, get a passport 8500. Better display, much less annoying

My valentine 1 is probably the last radar detector I'll ever have. I originally picked mine up in 96 and to this day it's worked flawlessly. I've had the unit in 7 vehicles since then and it's saved me from various tickets numerous times.

It's one of the few (at that time it was the only one) that will notify you of warnings in front, behind, and from the sides, coupled with a count of signals in each direction, the strongest direction and a bogie count all at the same time.

As such, it takes some getting used to to....

Plus the unit is upgradable... there is a cost outside of warranty but from the v1 website you enter in your serial number and it tells you of all of the changes that have been made since your unit was produced and a suggestion about upgrading...

Great product and the concealed display that joker listed is quite a good unit even if it's the same price as it has been for years. 🙂

You must be new. Whenever a deal goes bad, especially soon after the initial post, he'll update or fix it, and/or post an apology.
