Anyone?

Niether, I still think specially with money your spending you should get a 7800GT at $350 they are a freaking bargain. And if you can still find the EVGA mobo deal then you end up with an even better deal.

What is the EVGA mobo deal?

For a while EVGA was throwing in a SLI mobo with the purchase of a GeForce 7800 card. I think the deal is dead now, though, as I don't see any info on their website.

Yikes! If you do end up getting an X2, for God's sake don't pair it with a Jetway board!

Personally, I'm wondering why you feel you need to upgrade. The 2400+ @ 2.2 GHz should be fine. Bumping up to 3800+ will definitely step up the performance, but is it worth the enormous cost?

Also, if you don't game much, why spend $200 or more on a fancy video card? Even for hi-def playback, is that really necessary?

😕

why doesn't the x2 work with the jetway board? In anand's review it beat the SLI-DR in game performance, and overclocking.

I'm planning on turning my current rig into an HTPC. As for the video card, while I don't game that much, when I do I'd like to be able to run at decent settings.
