You dust all the dust onto the floor, and then pick it up with the vacuum? Shrug.

Vacuum. Because most vacuums spit out some fine dust while they're doing their thing.

I have one of those whole-house vacuums which I initially thought was weird, but it does have the great advantage that all the dust is piped out of the house.

It really doesn't matter. The floor will get dirty again soon enough and the tables will get dusty again soon enough.

Get a good job, hire a maid, and never worry about it again.

I've noticed my vaccum kicks up a lot of dust. I'd vaccum first.
