Vacuum cord: The metal part that goes into the socket is coming off

Go to a hardware store, and buy a replacement plug rated to handle the current (in Amps) used by your vacuum. All you'll need is a mediun to large screwdriver and a way to strip the wires.

Note -- Don't do this while it is plugged in. :shocked:
