I've never before been proud of ignorance, but not having a clue what Big Three this references makes feel feel pretty darned good about myself. (I do have a nasty suspicion that two of them are Pokemon and anime, but as long as I avoid confirming that I remain totally and blissfully teen angst free.)

From the journal page of that website, I followed the link to http://joshthestampede.livejournal.com/profile, which lists the user's name as Josh Paulik, who resides in Baltimore, MD. A simple Facebook search came up with this, which states that he dropped out of Johns Hopkins, and is now a sysadmin/webmaster for them. A people search on Johns Hopkins website came up with this:

which lists him as a Technical Support Analyst. I'm sure he's not the first person to lie about his job title to impress others. He is currently in a relationship with Kilani Robinson, who, according to this article in the Baltimore Sun, is a roller derby skater also known as Paige Fault. I won't list his address or phone number, even though it is easily found on Addresses.com.

A divine mystery? Not so much...

I say IchiRuki. Unless Orihime did a lot of growing up in the later episodes (I'm on e.78 after watching seasons 7 and 8,) I don't see things working out with her. Orihime has some sex appeal and some cute surface interactions, but that doesn't translate into anything of deeper value to form a foundation of compatibility.

Ichigo and Rukia, OTOH, have fit together since day 1. They respect each other for who they are. They have faith in the other's inner qualities, which lets them interact with each other with a refreshing lack of pretense.

A moment of clarity is all it would take for Ichigo to add romantic feelings to his feelings for Rukia. A moment of clarity with Orihime, on the other hand, would dispel the illusion of romance for the reality of her incompetence. There's really no basis for the two of them to be together.

This is super serious stuff. Seriously.

Their relationship seems to me to be more emotionally intimate than you'll find in your typical nonsexual relationship. Speaking from experience (Navy security), with a male shipmate, there are some personal areas you avoid because it'd be gay. With a lesbian, you don't go there because you don't care. With an ugly girl, you only have basic interest, mostly because if you're not decent to the ugly girls, the hotties will hear about it through girl talk and won't have anything to do with you. With a cute girl, your interest is due to your sex drive trying to get you laid -- real interest in the vagaries of her life doesn't begin until you start getting the impression that she might be a keeper.

It's not an exact match for siblings, either. Tweens tend to have cruel positional battles. Teenagers are too awkward, distant, and wrapped up in themselves. Adult siblings are carrying baggage, and have lives of their own.

Rukia and Ichigo's emotional interplay is overly complex for a simple stereotype.
Ichigo is the front man.
Chad is the stalwart friend: the backbone.
Uryu and Renji serve as masculine benchmarks.
Orihime is the bumbling sidekick and adds a little unrequited attraction byplay.
Rukia is.... what? She's too complex for a sidekick. Too involved for just a friend. She's central to Ichigo's life as a Soul Reaper. Without Rukia, what is Ichigo? Just a pinball reacting to circumstance. It is Rukia who brings everything into focus and gives meaning to his life.

As for Rukia's apparent lack of romantic interest, I don't think her defenses would allow her to initiate, or to give in easily if interest was shown in her.
I don't think she'd give in to anything much short of a hero being awestruck and becoming resolute to sweep her off her feet. So, basically we're talking about either Ichigo or Renji realizing that they can't live without her, with nature then taking its course.

Because from what I heard it was one classmate, who is a high school kid who might be a far righty, and/or not have a clue what a liberal is, like most righties here.

And the bulk of the evidence makes clear a different picture. What liberal causes did he support, what liberal causes did he say he was killing for? None that I've seen.

I've heard ignorant righties call some very non-liberal crazy people 'liberals'. But for some, they're so desparate to try to attack liberals, they'll grab any hook to try to do a smear.

I was watching South Park the other day and I think Stan and Wendy should get back together. Their relationship was much more dynamic and organic than any of the other relationships in the show. The show is losing its way because the earlier episodes showed some elasticity in that the starting conditions for the episode were always the same (kenny comes back to life) but the more recent episodes show signs of plasticity and by that I mean the plot doesn't bounce back to where it started, so if I miss 3 episodes then I have no idea what is going on. Like who is this Mr Slave asshole? He's nowhere near as cool as Mr Hat or Mr Twig.

I think at some point the media is going to have to stop politicizing this guy. He was a whacko. End of story. Nothing he listened to or heard specifically influenced him to kill. He was mentally ill and any little thing could have set him off. I think it was more likely due to the fact that this member of congress was a female than whether she had a D or R next to her name.
