Vacation advice?

My parents want to take the family up to Canada for winter break. The only place we usually go is Taiwan, and my mom doesn't want to use the same asian travel agency to plan the trip for us. Is it pretty late to get any sort of nice packages? Probably the Vancouver area. Would it be better to go with a travel package/agency or just get plane tickets and see the sights ourselves?

It's for a family of 6, and my parents don't want to do any skiing.

I would just get tickets...that way you can do what you want when you want...go to Stanley Park,Robson Street,Granville Island...so much you can do and many places to eat...even China town is great...food is fantastic

Canada...in the winter....and you don't want to ski? 😕

That's like wanting to go to Phoenix in the middle of August and you don't want to sweat.

i like to ski, but if we wanted to do that we'd just go to lake tahoe or something. This is my parents first time in Canada, I think they'd rather do something else
