This is the only forum I frequent on the net that has people that actually know what the heck they are talking about (for the most part!
) so I thought I could ask this question here.
I just did a fresh reinstall of Win98SE after a reformat. After all my drivers were installed, I started putting in my games. When I run "Homeworld" in OpenGL I get a "flicker" in the map screen when I select the "tactical overlay". As well, in the "build" screen, the ship chosen flicker too. This only happens in OpenGL and not D3D.
When I play Q3, I get some very slight "artifacts" in the middle of the screen. Almost unnoticable, but still there. This is with both the Beta and last official V5 Drivers.
My system did not do this before. Does anyone have any ideas?
1.2 Ghz T-Bird
1.28(?) 4n1 (Whatever the latest, offical Via ones are)
MSI K7T Pro 2A mobo
384MB RAM
V5500 AGP
SB Live Value
Quantum Fireball 30GB
Thats about it...
I would appreciate any ideas!
Thanks!
