V3 better FPS than GF3?

Processor is a p2 450...FPS has gone down significantly in Tribes One and Two after going from a Voodoo 3 2000 to a VisionTek GeForce 3...does anybody have any idea why? Latest Dets are installed.
 
not mine, wouldnt have chosen to do it but LOWER performance than a V3 in an OpenGL Game? That is wrong. I'm looking into the mobo he has, hoping its a BX so he can make a major processor upgrade.
