I ran this program called CommView to see the connections coming in and out of my computer, and I noticed two connections from hostname v1ru5.com, one on port 80 and one on port 27960, both from IP 161.58.160.36. The program says one has Direction "Out", and the other has Direction "Pass". I used Zone Alarm Pro to restrict this IP, but can I assume that I have a virus? I had a few virii last week, such as the FunLove and SirCam virii. What can I do to totally rid my computer? I am using McAfee VirusScan with Service Pack - version 4.5.0.534. Thanks for the help!

Oh yeah.. this is the MOST severe... but its the only way to be absolutely certain that you dont' have viruses. Also, try to load stuff from the actual CDROMS because any burns you might have done might be infected as well. I know because I ran into this problem and that's how I solved it. =)

I have McAfee Antivirus on my comp now too, but I'm not so sure that its virus free.

I really have no idea. I didn't run any virus protection, but I also didn't open any exes I wasn't familiar with. My roommate had the virus and they shut down his data jack because he was sending out tons of e-mails. I got Zone Alarm Pro to try to protect myself.
