hey I can go around corners too........ at about 60km/h in a mad power slide, the old girl can take up to lanes that way and smash the poor little beemer to bits ......."hey did you feel a bump...nah must have been a beemer".
Hey I'll get my brothers Mazda RX-7 series 4 it does 10.2 sec 1/4 and can go around bends at more than 200km/h too easy,and has a topend of 320km/h+ (we got scared once the speedo read that and backed off) but he cheats he has a big turbo and an even bigger Nitrous kit.
 
the M3 is most likely faster than the fairlane. It has a higher top end, is lighter, and does not look like an ass on wheels.

Hey I just kidding about the beemer, I have a mad james bond fantasy with a Dakar yellow M3 (with the 3.2litre six) and killing my worst enemy😀
But hey the old tanks still hauls ass, even if it can't go round corners and it does have power steering, fast glass, air conditioning, power sun roof and power seats, factory fitted, as well as five point racing harness and a six piont roll cage.
and no I am not a redneck just a drag racer, none of that street bull crap, but legal strip racing.
and I have all my teeth, nice hair and no belly sticking out of a sweaty singlet or T-shirt.
 
I do have to admit that you could treat cars like the Fairlane like crap and they still work. The "M" cars are all real prima donnas. Look at them funny and something will require a trip to the dealer.

That's a pretty dumb statement considering it costs almost 5 times as much as a Z06.
