Mercata isn't the cheapest place to shop, but y'all might want to chk out the rebate section if you don't mind dealing with rebates (left hand side of website underneath "smart shopper". Rebates plus your Mercata dollars may even get you a warm deal. Mercata dollars can only be used on up to 20% of your order.

This is the only one I thought was worth posting..although there was also a nifty cobra radio (good for hunting w/ buddies).

$20 rebate on v-tech phone w/ answering machine minus twenty percent makes it approx $20.

VTech 900-MHz Cordless Phone (w/$20 Rebate), 916ADLi
SKU #: 193605129

Here's the rebate for that one.

It's pretty easy to find the phone on the site...

Would be nice if you could tell us how we're supposed to get these Mercata dollars. Oh well, Staples deal was better anyways.

Mercata dollars? on home page you'll see the advertisement. This isn't the best deal. It's actually one of the older phones. I still thought it was a warm deal...definitely not a hot one. I do what I can do to contribute to Anandtech instead of leeching all the time.

For any of y'all that got this phone from Staples, how is the quality? On mine, everyone says they can hardly hear me. They say it sounds like I am talking from about 10 feet from the phone. I either have something set wrong on the phone or the line/phone is screwed.
