Looks really bad.

How so?

The commercials that are on TV now look a lot different then the previews I saw in the theater last summer & I'm still not sure what its supposed to be about, aside from some strange cross of Zorro & Orwells 1984 maybe.

I could be wrong, but none of this bodes well for a quality movie-going experience.

well, it could be good, but it'll probably go overboard with CG and end up being 'meh'

You do realize that the movie is based on a comic book, right?

I had no idea ... hadn't really looked into it. Is Vendetta the name of the comic as well?

"People should not be afraid of their governments, governments should be afraid of their people." Oh how true, yet that has lost meaning nowadays.

A mainstream anti-government movie has made it to general release. Perhaps there is hope yet.

V for Vendetta

Interesting ... I'm surprised I've never heard of it ... I have to say that it sounds like my impression of the plot was pretty close!
I still doubt I'll be going to the theater to see it... most likely I'll wait for DVD.

The comic is awesome. Written by the same guy who wrote Watchmen (Alan Moore). He's very good. Probably the best.
