With Valentines day a couple days away what do you recommend me getting for her??? Actually we broke up a month a go but we still are together. Just with out the BF/GF status. I dont want to break the bank but what do you recommend on gifts?? Lingerie?? 🙂

edit: on a sidenote, i was explaining the concept of a pearl necklace to my quazi-gf and she said she wanted a pearl tongue-ring for v-day :Q

v-day, to me means a time to recognize love, not gifts, if she cant apprieciate a fun night on the town, then fVxk her dood.

I'd recommend a stuffed bear, or her favorite animal. Earrings also work, maybe small diamond ones. Those are if you think there's a chance you'll get back together... if not, just get her the standard 12 roses in a nice arrangement.

 
No but i know of them both. There all owned by the same guy. Ive been to the Striped Bass, Mcormick and Son, Capitol Grill and of course the best place in philly Le Beck Fin.

Actually we went with like 20 people to cuba libre, and we saved some money cause my friends salmon was uncooked, my other boys salmon same way and my duck salen had a bone in it. They took all them off the bill ($60) and gave us 2 huge free desserts which were like $25 a piece. Its nice to go there ocne in a while but not worth the money!!!!\

Yeah they're all owned by Steven Starr... he also owns Tangerine and Continental in Olde City. Striped is pretty cool, haven't been to Mcormick or Capitol, Le Beck Fin rox.

Uncooked fish? That sux man... I won't be going there anytime soon... where do you guys go clubbing, if at all? I'm usually up to visit the woman on the weekends and we go out every Sat nite...

 
I usually dont go clubbing. Im a bar kinda guy. We hit up Tiki Bobs, Finnigins, and a personal favorite Mcgillins.
Actually if you want a cool place to go. Hit up Tragos between 19th Market and 19th Chestnut. Awesome place. 3 bars upstairs and down. Dance floor, little tables dj poll table. Its really nice!!! and its new. On Sat. I believe from 9-11 its open bar for $10 and almost no one is there. People show up at around 11. So hit it up get drunk and let the good times role

Nice, we sometimes go to Fins or Tiki Bob's... only thing that about Tiki's is the line out the door, u usually have to wait forever unless u'r on the list. Also hit up Paradigm's, Plow of the Stars, or Billy Wong's (usually on the list there).

I'll have to remember Tragos... wonder if they have any good top shelf stuff in that open bar? 🙂

Nope, not in school, she graduated from Neumann, she teaches 8th grade. Live in South Philly off Oregon Ave 🙂 Where u located?

Dunno about top shelf for open bar but here rum and coke tastes like rum and coke no matter how u put it. BTW if you have the cash flow and want some place hot go to Denim. EXPENSIVE AS HELL!!!

I went through this stage with my fiancee, so I know what's going on, but I don't think many other people will understand. We were never really able to explain it to people.

Yeah we got the $$$, but rather put it towards a house or IRA's...

Open bar is the spot for me, especially for $10. Hell I spend $16 for a double shot of Belvedere alone. I'll have to peep Denim tho...

Yea its hard to understand. Without the status i have a bit more freedom but its really hard to explain to people

We broke up a month ago but as i said still sorta together. I mean im with her most of the time. Drexel is a five year school if your doing co-op. Im 5 yrs. She is not doing co-op and is 4yrs.
So basically im in my 3rd and her in her 2nd.
Im 21 she just turned 20
